1. Before use, use water to clean the pipeline and the valve body overflow part to prevent residual iron filings and other debris from entering the ball valve body cavity.
2. When the external thread reducing brass ball valve is closed, there is still some residual medium in the valve body, and it also bears a certain pressure. Before overhauling the ball valve, close the shut-off valve in front of the ball valve, open the ball valve that needs to be overhauled, and completely release the internal pressure of the valve body.
3. Generally, PTFE is used as the sealing material for soft-sealed ball valves, and the sealing surface of hard-sealed ball valves is made of metal surfacing. If the pipeline ball valve needs to be cleaned, it is necessary to be careful to prevent damage to the sealing ring and leakage during disassembly.
4. When disassembling and assembling the flanged ball valve, the bolts and nuts on the flange should be fixed first, then all the nuts should be tightened slightly, and finally fixed firmly. If the individual nut is forcibly fixed first, and then other nuts are fixed, the gasket surface will be damaged or ruptured due to the uniform lining between the flange surfaces, resulting in the leakage of the medium from the valve flange.
