Equal Coupling Brass Compression Fitting For Pex Pipe

Short Description:

PEX Fitting, Brass Fittings

Our PEX fittings are generally made of CW617N brass and CU57-3 brass. In case of special needs, other materials such as DZR can be used.

We will customize special rings according to the customer’s requirements, with the ring processed into a barbed shape to prevent the tube from falling off when pressure levels are above 10kg.

We can provide PEX fittings in a variety of sizes, from 15mm x 1/2’’ x 2.0mm to 32mm x 1’’ x 3.0mm, with the following structural forms: straight, elbow, tee, wall-plated, etc.

Precautions when brass compression fittings are pre-installed:
1. When the brass compression pipe fittings are pre-installed, the end surfaces of the pipes should be flush. After the pipe is cut off, it should be polished on a grinding wheel and other tools, and the burrs should be removed, cleaned and blown with high-pressure air before use.
2. During pre-installation, the coaxiality of the pipe and the joint body should be kept as far as possible. If the deflection of the pipe is too large, the seal will fail.
3. The preloading force should not be too large. The inner edge of the pressing should be just embedded in the outer wall of the pipe, and there should be no obvious deformation in the pressing. If the compression deformation is serious during pre-installation, the sealing effect will be lost.
4. It is forbidden to add fillers such as sealant. In order to achieve a better sealing effect, some people apply sealant on the clamping pressure. As a result, the sealant is flushed into the hydraulic system, causing failures such as blockage of the orifice of hydraulic components.
5. When connecting the pipeline, the pipe should have enough deformation allowance to avoid tensile stress on the pipe.
6. When connecting the pipeline, it should be avoided to be subjected to lateral force. If the lateral force is too large, the sealing will not be tight.
7. When connecting the pipeline, it should be tightened at one time to avoid multiple disassembly, otherwise the sealing performance will be deteriorated.
