Brass compression fittings consist of three parts: fitting body, ferrule, and nut. When the brass compression fitting and nut sleeve are inserted into the joint body on the steel pipe, and the nut is tightened, the outer side of the front end of the ferrule fits the conical surface of the joint body, and the inner edge evenly bites into the seamless steel pipe to form an effective seal. Brass compression fitting joints have the characteristics of reliable connection, high pressure resistance, temperature resistance, good sealing and repeatability, convenient installation and maintenance, and safe and reliable work.
Brass compression fittings press the ferrule through thread interlocking, and the brass compression fittings the tube evenly to achieve a sealing effect.Brass ferrule joints are very simple to connect, only need a marker and two wrenches to complete the installation, and are easy to maintain and can be disassembled repeatedly. Brass compression fittings have good sealing and high cleanliness, so they are often used in high-purity gas pipelines. For ferrule joints of ≤2”, the nominal pressure can reach more than 20MPa.
